Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Prepor collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Prepor is operated by Waypoint Development LLC. You can reach us at support@prepor.co or by mail at 418 Broadway Ste N, Albany, NY 12207 US.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Prepor, we may collect or process:

• Your email address and authentication data.
• Basic Google account information if you sign in with Google, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier.
• Subscription status and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers.
• Practice answers, AI feedback, and scores.
• Session history and practice history.
• Newsletter email address if you subscribe to the recruiting brief.
• Recruiting tracker submissions, where applicable.
• Product analytics events from PostHog.
• Support messages you send us by email.

How we use your information

We use your data to provide and improve the service, grade your answers, track your progress, process payments, send service and newsletter emails, and respond to support requests.

Service providers

We work with the following providers, who process data on our behalf under their own terms:

• Supabase for authentication and database.
• Google as an optional sign-in provider if you choose Google sign-in.
• Stripe for payments and billing. We do not store full card numbers.
• OpenAI for generating AI feedback.
• Resend for emails and newsletter delivery.
• PostHog for product analytics.
• Vercel for hosting.

Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, we may receive basic account information from Google, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We use this information to create and manage your Prepor account.

AI feedback and OpenAI

Practice answers may be processed by OpenAI to generate feedback. Please do not submit confidential, proprietary, highly sensitive, or employer owned information in your answers.

Analytics and PostHog

We use PostHog to understand how people use the product so we can improve the site. We do not intentionally send your email address, practice answer text, AI feedback text, names, or freeform user input to PostHog. Session replay is not enabled.

Your data rights

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact support@prepor.co. You can also ask us to delete your practice answers and account related data through support. We keep your data while your account is active.

Email

We may send account related emails and, if you opt in, newsletter emails. You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails at any time using the link in each email.

Children

Prepor is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
